Calling All Lions!!
I came up with the mantra “Lion for a Day” when I began training for the Saint George Marathon last year. It actually is taken from a famous black and white photo taken in 1970 from photographer George Rodriguez; it reads: “It’s better to live one day as a lion, than a thousand years as a lamb.” I’d like to invite you to join me in declaring your desire to rise up, and live as a LION!
Whether it’s running a marathon or a 5k. Whether it’s sitting for the LSAT exam when no one thought it possible or taking on cancer and winning. Whether it’s finally kicking a bad habit or beginning a new one, we welcome it all. My goal is to develop this into a place where likeminded people can come and pledge their desires, and find the support to make that dream a reality. Eventually this will even be a place where we can make a united effort to also give back to those who may not have the resources to live as a lion. I welcome you to our site, and am glad you heeded the call…Calling all Lions!!
